In Three Acts
Act 1
I’m living behind a wall. It’s safe here.
There is a window. I look out.
Everything is so clear.
I don’t even notice the wall.
Act 2
I’m dying behind a wall. I’m scared.
In the window, I see my reflection.
Everything is uncertain.
I notice the wall.
Interlude
I didn’t build this wall,
nor do I have a say in its design.
It always has been and always will be.
This wall is everything I will know,
the window is my experience.
Act 3
What is beyond the wall? I’m curious.
Anything becomes possible.
There is no wall.
